This is a 6-week class beginning on May 2nd and running until June 6.
Come play with clay to shape your ideas and bring them to life. Clay is flexible, strong, infinitely changeable and so much fun to work with! A new project to try every week and students from prior classes will find all new projects to attempt. We will try our hand at pinch pots, coil, slab and molded pieces during the six weeks of class.
Class fee includes all supplies and use of our tools, glazes and kiln firings.
Instructor: Karen NuzzoKaren Nuzzo has been working with children since she was a teenager. She has taught Art in BCPS, Lynchburg Fine Arts Center, Roanoke College Summer Camps and at the Bower Center for the Arts. She is a fiber artist and has been a weaver, spinner, knitter, embroiderer and quilter for years.
