Adult Clay Open Studio

Description

For students looking for studio time without instruction. Will have access to wheels, tools, glazes. Fire and work at your own pace! No limits on quantity.

For Ages 15 and up. Any level of artist welcome. We have 3 wheel throwing spaces and 4 Handbuilding spaces available. This is a 6 week course that meets on Tuesday evenings from November 9th - December 14, 6pm-8pm. The class fee is $135 for the 6 weeks & 1 bag of clay.

Your instructor is Sarah Echols. Sarah is a certified teacher for grades p-5(GA certificate) and has worked in public, private (Montessori) schools, but largely in environmental education.  Sarah has taught wheel throwing classes before, and also has been a member of many local studios throughout her life. Since relocating to Lynchburg in 2017, Sarah has started her own pottery studio and produces her work from there.

Tuesdays Jan. 11 - Feb 15, 6-8pm.
