Join us at the Bower Center for a fun and creative class lead by Belle Thomas where you will learn how to needle felting fluffy highland cow brooch. This beginner-friendly class guides you to create a cute highland cow that you can wear or use as a decoration. You will have options to make it as an ornament or a magnet instead, so you can choose what you prefer. All the supplies you need will be provided for you. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow, making it perfect for anyone new to needle felting. By the end of the class, you will have a lovely highland cow to take home. It's a great way to relax, meet new people, and unleash your creativity.

INSTRUCTOR BIO 

Belle Thomas is a long-time artist and needle felt teacher with a passion for the medium. Stumbling upon this medium by accident, she soon became an avid felter. She has been creating needle felt paintings for the last several years, and her work is featured in several locations in Virginia. Belle enjoys teaching and bringing this uncommon medium to the public with her monthly classes and events. 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

  • Cancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund. 
  • Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will receive a 50% refund. 
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours to the class will not be refunded. 
  • Students will have the option to transfer registration to another class in place of receiving a refund. 
    • Special consideration will be given to cancellations due to health-related issues and family emergencies. 
    • If you plan miss a session of class, please inform your instructor, or email our Program Coordinator, Lauren Hood, at L.hood@bowercenter.org 
    • There will be no refunds or discounts given for missed classes.
